You can take a screenshot in Windows and macOS and have the image in store in your clipboard. You can then paste the image into any application, for example your email client. This saves time and eliminates having to attach a screenshot as a file.

Windows

1. Press "Start + Shift + S"
2. Your cursor will turn into a crosshair.
3. Select the area you wish to take a screenshot.
4. You can now paste the picture into any program you like by press "Ctrl + V".

macOS

1. Press "Control + Command + Shift + 4"
2. Your cursor will turn into a crosshair.
3. Select the area you wish to take a screenshot.
4. You can now paste the picture into any program you like by press "Command + V".
